| Artist Statement: Eric Sturtevant was born and raised in Rhode Island where he currently lives and works. He likes to draw. I mean he really likes to draw. As a child he suffered massive anxiety from roll call in school due to the horrible mispronunciation of this name…especially when there were substitute teachers. Subsequently he immersed himself in art to avoid the laughter. His biggest pet peeve is people asking him what it’s like to live on an island. Seriously?! Other than that he’s a very cool guy and likes to be reassured of that by his friends and admirers. |
